"I thought the course was very good and value for money.
As a complete beginner Mike took us through the various stages and I was able to complete my painting in the time allotted.
The sitter Jeremy was very good.
The barn where the course is held is beautiful and there was plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and homemade cake!"
"Very enjoyable in nice surroundings and with a small group. Our instructor Sue Tilbury was clear in her teaching and very helpful and complimentary in our efforts. I would recommend her art courses to anyone."
"I've never been to Medlam's Farm before, so it was a pleasure to turn up for an oil painting class and see the gardens before it started.
The class was very well organised, with lots of room for all attendees, and they served refreshments and cake throughout the day.
Our tutor Mick was fantastic, taking the time (for us newbies to oil) walking through the principles of the medium and providing books and examples on Alla Prima. He was very knowledgeable - a superb artist in his own right - and ensured the pace of the lesson (and support throughout class) was considered.
It was an extremely enjoyable day, and I would highly recommend these classes to all."
