Level: beginner and up. Join local illustrator Helen Ridley for a relaxing and inspiring full-day fashion illustration workshop at the beautiful Micklems Farm in Knowl Hill. This workshop is designed to help you develop your unique style and create expressive fashion illustrations. What To Expect: Morning: Introduction & Inspiration: Helen will start the day with an introduction to fashion illustration and share inspiring examples to get your creative juices flowing. Fashion Figure Drawing: Learn fundamental techniques for sketching fashion figures, focusing on proportions, poses, and movement. Enjoy guided exercises and live demonstrations to build your confidence. Mark Making & Line Quality: Explore different mark-making techniques using a variety of tools, from fine liners to brush pens, to add texture and personality to your illustrations. Afternoon: Pattern Design: Dive into the exciting world of pattern design, learning how to create unique and eye-catching patterns that can be incorporated into your fashion illustrations. Mixed Media & Collage: Experiment with a range of materials, including watercolour, markers, and collage, to add depth and visual interest to your work. Helen will demonstrate various techniques and encourage you to explore your own approach. Personal Style Development: Throughout the workshop, Helen will provide individual guidance and feedback to help you refine your skills and develop your own distinctive style. Terms - Fee is payable on booking. If, having booked, you can no longer attend, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer you to another workshop. However, you may nominate someone else to attend the workshop or class in your place by notifying us using the 'message the tutor' button. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 48 hours prior to the workshop date. We will only cancel due to insufficient places sold and you will be refunded the full amount paid.
