I had an involving and interesting day with Richard, both relaxing and, at times, hard work. It was fascinating comparing working with the gas forge with the traditional coke forge. I wish I'd done this decades ago, and chosen a different career.

My partner and I spent the day making our wedding rings with Anna and we had the best day! Anna demonstrated what we were going to be doing and then got us going on our own pieces. It was amazing to create our rings from a simple strip of gold, hammering and filing in designs to make them our own. Anna was supportive throughout, giving us the space and confidence to create our designs without leaving us to ruin them! Might have to get married again just to make another set of rings…

I was thrilled to receive the Living Spring Wreath kit from my son for Mother’s Day. What a wonderful gift! The selection of bulbs and greenery were lovely and there was a good supply of moss and willow to make the basic wreath. I am very pleased with the finished wreath and have it displayed on my garden table for all my visitors to admire.

Sarah's ring-making workshop provided us with memories we will treasure forever. From the moment we walked into the workshop, she created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel at ease. She was incredibly flexible with our design choices, allowing us to create unique and personalised wedding bands (and she had made time to meet with us in person before the workshop to talk through the options and to explain the process). Sarah guided us through all the steps, and regularly checked in to make sure we were comfortable with what we were doing (and importantly she gave us regular biscuit, coffee, and tea breaks). She provided helpful and interesting information along the way and remained adaptable throughout the entire day. By the end we had had a great time and we’re extremely happy with the final product. Every time we look at our beautiful rings it will evoke fond memories of this unique experience. We could not recommend this experience enough. Sarah is a fantastic teacher, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with her.

My friend and I decided to do something together for our birthdays rather than buy gifts for each other this year. We both love crafts and booked on with Melanie. From booking, to emailing questions to the day itself, it was brilliant. We had never done glass craft before but Melanie makes it so easy for you to follow, everything was provided, even extra cake. Highly recommend and such great value. Venue is light, modern and airy, but compact but ideal for what you’re doing. Ample parking and great directions provided on booking.

This was bought as a birthday gift. We had an amazing day, the course is so informative and surprising!!! We learnt a great deal about the whole process and accurate ways to use tools. Everyone came away with a spoon. The lunch was delicious and the hospitality amazing. Thank you so much for a wonderful day

I have just completed another term of glass and am signed up for the next. I do the workshops with Kate who is just great and it is the best therapy I’ve ever had!! The location is relaxing and doing the glass work is totally absorbing. Absolutely love it and am learning more all the time. Would highly recommend no matter what your level of skill.
