Discover the art of jewellery making in Northamptonshire at our enchanting workshop located in the picturesque Yardley Hastings. During this 3-hour class, you will be guided through the process of transforming silver spoons into stunning pieces of jewellery. Whether you are a total beginner or have some experience, this class is suitable for everyone. There will also be the opportunity to use spoon bowls to make pendants if you’d like to utilise any cut-off sections. No need to worry if you're new to jewellery making; our welcoming and supportive environment is perfect for beginners. We understand that starting something new can be daunting, but our instructors will be there every step of the way to ensure you feel confident and at ease as you unleash your creativity. Spoons are in addition to your course fees and cost between £12 and £20. Please feel free to bring your own, but ensure they are sterling silver. Silver plate is too hard to work with, so avoid anything that has EPNS or NP or SP marked on it. You are looking for a letter, a picture of a crown, anchor or crown, or a leopard's head and a lion sideways.

I was interested in making and designing from a very early age and developed my first jewellery range in 2000. I then discovered my love for teaching in 2004 and have been developing my courses ever since. I have a home teaching studio for 1:1 & 1:2 sessions and in 2017 I set up a teaching studio at Yardley Arts where I can teach up to 11 learners. Qualifications: BA in Designed Metalwork and Jewellery from BCUC and MA Royal College of Art Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork and Jewellery.
