Description

Learn to make your own beautiful fine silver jewellery from art clay silver, at my studio in Newcastle Upon Tyne. No previous experience is necessary! From my home studio I can offer workshops for up to 3 people. Classes are kept small so I am able to give each attendee my full attention. **Please Note** a minimum of two students must be booked before workshop can proceed. By the end of my course you will have some beautiful jewellery to take home. I will teach you the following: - Rolling & cutting. - Texturing. - Layering. - Pre fire finishing. - Post fire finishing. - Burnishing. - Polishing. - Oxidising to create ‘antiquing’. Silver clay when fired, which can be done using an inexpensive torch at home, results in 99.9% fine silver pieces. At the end of the course you will have a great understanding of silver clay and be able to take what you made away with you to impress your family and friends. In the unlikely event that I have to cancel a course at short notice, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. Please note this is not suitable for children under the age of 16. Price is per person for 3 hours.

I attended an intensive 3 day course which resulted in me achieving Art Clay Silver Level 1 Diploma (ACWUK) which qualifies me to teach basic silver clay.I was presented with the North Tyneside Business of the Month award – reflecting feedback from people who have completed a course with me
