Silver jewellery workshop for beginners with Jude Karnon
Description
Have you ever wanted to make your own piece of silver jewellery? Or are you looking for a gift experience for someone who loves jewellery? My half day workshops will be an introduction to making silver jewellery using traditional tools and techniques in the tranquil setting of my garden workshop. The half day is totally tailored to you because my workshops are 1:1 or 1:2 and your jewellery making experience will begin before you even step foot in the workshop! I will be in contact beforehand to chat and discuss your designs and ideas so you can make the most of your day. The day will start at 9.30am with a cuppa and workshop orientation; familiarising yourself with the tools and materials. Then you will crack on with making your jewellery by learning techniques such as sawing, filing, drilling, annealing, soldering and polishing. I will be on hand to offer advice and guidance and will demonstrate each part of the jewellery making process. The half day will finish at 1pm - just in time for lunch. There are lots of lovely places to eat in Leighton Buzzard, so make a day of it! I guarantee that you will feel satisfied and rewarded for creating your own pieces of jewellery and also relaxed with easy going chat and Radio 2!
