"This was a really wonderful bespoke course. Bridget was lovely and very knowledgeable. Have an idea of what you want to make, but don't be too specific, helps to learn more. We were able to get ideas on the day looking at Bridget's own collection. My husband and I decided to make a ring as he had recently lost his wedding ring and Bridget made it easy to make design decisions and guided us through every step. I would definitely go again (even though not local to us) we had a really great day."

"This was the first time I've tried jewellery making and Bridget made it really fun. I was very impressed with communication ahead of the workshop during and after. Bridget did her best to accommodate my needs and helped to make my design come true. I now have a beautiful ring and a wonderful story to go with it. The studio was comfortable and well equipped. We tried many techniques and I discovered how mesmerized one can be looking at the alchemy happening right in front of one's eyes when silver and a torch are involved. "We had a lovely day making silver rings with Bridget. Bridget was both knowledgeable and made the day fun. Bridget was able to find a way for us to make our designs (which before the day I worried were a bit unrealistic) which definitely speaks to her depth of experience. My partner made a wood effect ring (which I thought might be impossible but Bridget had just the right tool) and I made a rough textured ring with embossed hearts. All in all a great day."

"We had a busy and exhausting day at Bridget's! She led us through the design process, helping shape our vague ideas into something concrete and realistic. She was upfront about metal costs so we could proceed without any unpleasant surprises. Bridget tutored us through a number of different techniques, one at a time, and giving us plenty of time to practice on scrap metal. Each element of the design was discussed, practiced, then made with attention and care, overseen by Bridget. When we ran out of energy (it's hard work concentrating on something new for so long!) Bridget was there to take over when needed. We are delighted with the end result, and thoroughly recommend the day as a real treat for anyone who wants to make something unique and beautiful of their own."

"My husband booked me a one to one silversmithing session for my Birthday. I had an absolutely fantastic day. Bridget was so welcoming & patient & nothing was too much trouble. I had a design in mind for the session & Bridget provided guidance, support & encouragement every step of the way. She is extremely skilled & knowledgeable & I gained a wealth of skills, knowledge & tips from the session. Prior to this session I struggled with soldering & Bridget spent some time with me providing advice on the techniques involved & also provided a demonstration of 3 different soldering torches. The best Tuesday I have spent in a long while. Bridget's warm welcome to her studio, her reassurance that I would not leave without my masterpeice was reassuring; from refining my ideas to handling the piece from start to finish. Every step from the cutting, annealling, filing, rolling, beating, soldering, polishing- " you see, you do" under safe guidance with wonderful explanations and anecdotes. A joy to spend time with such creativity and skill rolled into one very fine silversmith who has captured the imagination and enthusiam of an absolute novice. I wore my piece home, it is a special tresaure and this was the most wonderful day with a remarkable lady- I loved it enough to plan to bring a friend next time- you won't want to leave it at just one day- Fabulous experience and thank you."

"I have just spent a most enjoyable day working with Bridget in her workshop, and with her patient guidance have created a most beautiful pair of earrings. I had a vague idea at the start of what I would like to achieve, but certainly had no idea of the complexity of the craft, which was very soon obvious once I had discussed my ideas in more detail. We eventually decided on a very simple design, which was certainly the way forward, because even that took all day! Bridget took time to explain each stage in the making of the earrings, and I was able to practice certain techniques before doing the "real thing". Her knowledge of the craft is impressive, and she took every opportunity to make sure everything was done just right in order to achieve a very pleasing end result. I have come away enthused with what I had achieved, and a determination to spend another day in her workshop to make other pieces to complement the earrings."
