On this 3-hour workshop you will learn how to make a beautiful textured pendant or pair of earrings and add a striking detail of 24ct gold foil using the Korean technique of Keum-boo Don't worry if you're new to jewellery making as this fun class will guide you from start to finish and there will be plenty of opportunities to ask your friendly teacher questions along the way. Throughout the class, you will get the opportunity to create your own designs and use a range of traditional jewellery making techniques and tools. At the end of this fun jewellery workshop, you will have a gorgeous piece of textured jewellery to call your own and the skills to make more.

Maker
I was interested in making and designing from a very early age and developed my first jewellery range in 2000. I then discovered my love for teaching in 2004 and have been developing my courses ever since. I have a home teaching studio for 1:1 & 1:2 sessions and in 2017 I set up a teaching studio at Yardley Arts where I can teach up to 11 learners. Qualifications: BA in Designed Metalwork and Jewellery from BCUC and MA Royal College of Art Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork and Jewellery.
