Pottery taster session - creating botanical planters, mugs, vases and candle holders

X

Description

This taster workshop is a good introduction to the wonderful techniques of clay. We will be exploring how to create pattern and textures on the clay surface with different plant life, fabrics and stamps and then make them into planters, mugs, vessels and lanterns using the slab building technique. These can also be personalised using letter stamps. The workshop will take place in my fully equipped studio in Poole where I design and make my own ceramic sculpture and tableware. I have been teaching for around 20 years and have a degree in ceramics as well as PGCE in Post Compulsory Education. Once your pieces are made, I will then fire them onsite, and they will be available for collection 6 weeks later (TBC). I can post the pieces out for an extra charge.
