Hi, I am a self taught willow artist and live in Somerset, surrounded by willow! I make all sorts of commission pieces and you can see my work at The Swannery, Abbotsbury. I run willow sculpture workshops at Studi0ne,Bridport, River Cottage & Symondsbury Estate, The David Hall, South Petherton, Flowerdew Farm, and Musgroves Willow located in Dorset, Devon and Somerset. From hares, deer, pigs, bees, dragonfly and flying owls, to Christmas wreaths, to name a few! I can also come to you if you can get 8 people together in a local village hall.....

"Another terrific day willow sculpting at Walford Mill. Jo is a fantastic and engaging tutor, and made the day all the more enjoyable. Although a pig sculpting day, is arranged to sculpt a second unicorn for my granddaughters, to join the first in their garden from a previous deer/unicorn sculpting class. This class enabled me to explore some new ideas, and to learn and practice more willow working under Jo's lovely guidance."

"Jo managed to support the range of abilities in the group really well. It was hard work but very fulfilling with a sculpture to take home at the end of the day. Jo was also serious about the health and safety aspects of the location and work content. This was my first experience of willow weaving and perhaps could have done with more time, however, I had learnt enough to be able to finish off and tidy up my sculpture when I got home. I would definitely recommend Jo’s workshop and hope to attend another in the future. A great learning experience - thank you Jo."
