Description
On this course, you will begin by making a traditional small round base, we will then stake up and learn a 3 rod wale and weave up the sides with a French Rand, finishing off with another wale. You will learn a simple border and finish off with a wrapped bow handle. Please don’t wear anything too precious! Whilst weaving is not a really dirty activity, laps and cuffs and hands can get grubby, and sometimes the little buds, or sharp cut ends of the willow, can snag and pull fabric. Layers are good as you can adjust easily to changes in temperature.
