Seat caning for beginners

Description

This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of cane seating. Using a pre-prepared panel, students will learn how to weave the standard six-way pattern found on most cane furniture. Students will complete a prepared panel, which they can take home along with a detailed, step by step guide and, hopefully, the confidence to tackle their future restoration projects!

What's included in the price?

An information booklet providing a brief history of the craft, useful tips and a detailed step by step guide to weaving in the standard six-way pattern. All materials are provided so that you have a completed panel to take home with you at the end of the day.
