*PLEASE NOTE: Indoor courses only take place between Nov - Mar. I run this exact same course for the rest of the year in my woodland space. If there are no places left on this course please search for the Round Shopper in the Woods course.* Come and make your very own willow shopper basket! On this basket making course you will learn how to make your own functional willow basket that will last for many years to come. I will teach you how to make the base, add the uprights, weave the sides and add a handle. This workshop is suitable for beginners. We have good access for wheelchair users as we will be in a village hall. Reasonable hand strength and hand mobility is required. I will supply hot drinks and biscuits. Please bring your own lunch and any refreshments.

Maker
The Coppice Co. started in 2020 after Suz Williams finished her two year apprenticeship as a coppice worker and traditional craft maker. Since then she has been teaching traditional woodland crafts across the country. Her speciality is willow weaving, split hazel baskets and spoon carving.
