Make your own jewellery in Warrington (daytime class)

Description

This workshop runs on either a Tuesday morning, Thursday morning 10-1pm or a Friday afternoon from 1:30pm-4:30pm. Please specify which session you would like to join when booking your place. You'll be introduced to a range of basic jewellery making skills, in these 8 week sessions. We'll start by making a design, or two designs in copper, before making your favourite in silver. You will learn how to cut your metal, shape, solder, before cleaning up for a final polish. This course is also suitable for those with jewellery experience. You will be shown how to use the various tools in the well equipped workshop safely. If there is a specific technique you want to try, then please contact me before booking to confirm I have the right materials and equipment ordered. What's included in the price?

All copper and brass is included, but silver can be bought from the tutor at cost price, or you can order directly from the suppliers (list provided). Tea, coffee and soft drinks are provided, and I'm sure there will be chocolate biscuits. If I'm feeling particularly organised, then there will be cakes too.
