Join us as we get into the festive spirit here at The Oast Studio. We will be creating our own blocks to print Christmas cards to send to your friends and family as well as wrapping paper ready for those parcels under the tree. During this workshop you will learn: - How to make your own simple block - How to think about patterns - How to print neatly, avoiding splodges! Block printing is such a fun way to explore pattern and colour. Even the simplest dot or line becomes a pattern when repeated across the page. There are no rules except to have fun and enjoy the process. Our studio is in a beautiful converted oast with exposed beams and gentle views across the farmland. Filled with mouth-watering aromas from The Oast Bakery, where Alison prepares our delicious refreshments, this is the perfect place to escape the pressures of daily life and enjoy some creative time for yourself. Our aim is to offer the chance to unwind, learn a new skill and meet like-minded people whilst enjoying a cuppa and a slice of cake. Tuition is excellent - Annabelle is incredibly patient and able to give a lot of help as the class sizes are small.
