Description

A premium quality botanical inspired print kit with everything you need to create a magical snapshot of nature. Suitable for a complete beginner or somebody who tried this relaxing arts activity in the past and wants to revisit! You can use this kit to make your own prints - or you can gift it to somebody! Please add a comment if this is a gift I am happy to hand write personal gift messages. Please note gift wrapping is an additional charge please enquire directly. My standard kit arrives with a colourful front label & contents sticker. My kits are put together by myself & 2 local artist friends. Together in my art studio, we unpack deliveries, check everything is clean & working, carefully wrap & package - stamping by hand as we go. I am keen to keep a 'handmade' feel to my kits, the same as with my artwork & workshops. The great thing about lino printing is that you can learn at your own pace - make it as easy or difficult as you like. Such a beautiful process made popular by Matisse & Picasso due to its simplicity. What's included in the price?

A botanical inspired print kit with everything you need to create a magical snapshot of nature. Upgrade your kit by customising your ink selection, or by adding a Japanese printmakers baren made from bamboo, great for hand burnish of papers during printing. Inking tray Inking roller 10cm rubber specifically for lino print Lino sheet 20x15cm or A5. Draw with pencil directly onto lino or transfer a sketched out design using the tracing paper provided Lino cut tool set, a handle with 5 shape blades UK brand ESSDEE Mark making example sheet with video demonstration, learn how to use the different shape blades Artist palette knife to help you get inks from tins & mix together if you choose 4 sheets A5 size handmade Nepalese LOKTA paper 4 sheets A5 KENT paper. Written instructions with handy tips!! or an alternative is to watch the tutorial videos 3 x tubes professional water based ink 37ml brand Speedball. Here we include green, turquoise and violet as standard however select your own colours from the 20 shades we stock to customise your kit! Pick that option from the upgrade menu, add kit to basket then click into your shopping cart page (bag icon top right) to find a comment box 'special order instructions'. Tell us which colours here. 15ml tint pot of black and white to help mix your own colours Design templates botanical style prints, sometimes coming up with an idea is the hardest part but here you can copy allowing you to focus on technique Lino sheet A6 in blue soft quality, use this to get familiar with your tool.

Catherine began sending out arts materials by post so that her students could continue being creative at home.
