emily coulson reviewed: Plaster mould making for slip cast ceramics with Ed Bentley

"I was very fortunate to have spent time with Ed in his studio in Stoke making a mould. I learnt a huge amount about not only the basic process but also the little details which led to making a beautiful mould. All of which he allowed me to document so I can reference at home when I make my moulds. He is a master of his craft. Thank you Ed, you are a star."

Ruth Morris reviewed: Introduction to candle making workshop

"I attended the candle making class on the 8th of January, the class was led by Pauline. The class was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. It was very well led, the instructions were easy to follow and they were on top of the safety measures that come with handling hot wax. I am incredibly pleased with the finished products, which are generous in quantity. I have already had a couple on the go at home and they smell delicious. Pauline was a wonderful leader; we were even lucky enough to be offered a slice of her mum’s homemade pie! 10/10. It completely blew my expectations out of the water. Will definitely attend future classes!"

Bonita Candles responded:

"Thank you Ruth, that was so lovely to read. Thanks for being a fab participant in the group. Enjoy your lovely candles and come and see us again soon. xxx"

Christa Kontozoglou reviewed: Basic automata and mechanical toy making

"We had a wonderful time in this automata toy-making course. We enjoyed using the woodworking power tools to create the pieces of the mechanical toy and Stef was a brilliant teacher guiding us all the way through. He created a relaxed atmosphere with his friendly manner and his attention to detail meant that in the end, we came away with a very professional looking toy even though some of the tools we had never used before. It was definitely one of our favourite craft courses!"

Emma Blackmore reviewed: Pottery & Ceramics Ad hoc sessions, Learn when you want

"I contacted Geraldine with the hope that we could host a baby shower with a difference, as the ‘mum to be’ had always wished to use a potters wheel. Of course, Geraldine was very happy to help! 4 of us attended, all with very little experience of using clay, by the end of the 2-hour class we all had made our own keepsake trinket for the baby. Nothing was too much trouble and it was a very relaxing time. Thank you so much ?"

Geraldine Francis Ceramics responded:

"Thank you so much for your review. I am so pleased you enjoyed your time at the studio. I will be in touch when your work is ready for collection."
