"Lee was a brilliant tutor, friendly and very knowledgeable. I was a little bit intimidated attending an “art” class, but was very much out at ease. The small class size means you get lots of one to one tutoring. I had done some Lino printing before, but my knowledge of mixing colours and considering composition was very limited - this course has helped me immensely. Thanks! "

"Absolutely fantastic day. This session was bought for me and my son as a Christmas present. Neither of us have done anything like this before. Alex greeted us warmly when we arrived and was always very approachable throughout the day. Alex would take his time with each person and never rush around. You got quality time with him and he only intervened when you were about to make a mess of the knife. We both thoroughly enjoyed the day and we are looking forward to booking on to another session later in the year. I honestly can not recommend this enough. Great fun for all ages (within reason)"

I would highly recommend Jayne's class to anyone. "

"A fabulous Silk Painting Workshop with a very knowledgeable teacher, who was extremely encouraging, helpful and guided us very well. The length of the workshop was perfect and we did a practice piece which ended up being a bookmark (a lovely surprise at the end) and then onto the masterpiece. I can honestly say that my friend and I are now hooked on this craft. Thank you so much for a lovely few hours, I would highly recommend you and this Workshop."

"Many of us had already done the beginners' pouring class a month before and had come back to finish their item. I attended straight after the beginners' course in the am, so I finished a pre-made piece. I liked the emphasis on safety and the correct tools to ensure the work space remains safe to breathe in. Richard explained how to achieve a polished finish, but we practiced a smooth finish as this was more practical for daily use of the items we made."

"The studio is amazing! Very big with a lot of tools and a little sitting are for tea. If you're on the cold side it can get a bit chilly , but while working I was fine. Helen was great, happy to help and answer any questions and was showing us a lot of ways to get things done. It's hard work, but very immersive, I would definitely do it again. "

"Absolutely brilliant! I did the 2 day upcyling pallet course and had Scott all to myself on the first day! Both Scott and Sue are great and the homemade cake and biscuits were a fab bonus! I would have liked to have taken some notes to refer to in the future, so maybe some printed handouts on hints and tips and the different tools would be really helpful? I would throughly recommend any course with Black Paw . Can't wait to book up again!"
