"I have been going to wood carving lessons at Anthony's for nearly 12 months, I have seen myself and other students improve over that time with Anthony's guidance and patience . All equipment, e.g carving chisels , mallets etc are supplied for your use and several types of wood are available for your project. Evenings are now getting darker, give yourself a new hobby I would recommend having a try at wood carving , ( come and meet new friends and the coffee and biscuits are not bad either). "Spike is an excellent teacher who also knows lots of little Storys and bits of Information around blacksmithing to fill the waiting time while the steel is heating up. I had a lot of fun and actually already went back for another day. Highly recommended!"

"My wife got me this experience for my birthday as Im a big forged in fire fan. I wasnt sure what to expect but the day far exceeded anything I hoped for. Graham and his son (also his grandson, which is great to see a new generation of bladesmiths in the making) are friendly, helpful and have the course set up perfectly. Lunch was far better than the usual fair on these experiences and was all included in the price. One of the best days Ive had in ages. I would highly recommend it and I will be returning for some of their club days."

"Having stayed at the B&B and been inspired by Dawn’s mosaics I was very keen to return for one of her courses - I certainly wasn’t disappointed. Dawn you are a wonderful host, teacher and cook... the atmosphere and company was great, the time flew and at the end of the course I had a beautiful butterfly which I’m proud to display in my home. Thank you so much - I’m now confident and inspired to continue mosaicing on my own!"

"We all had a wonderful spent learning the techniques of sun printing. Bridget initially gave us a demonstration and then we were given lots of freedom to create the kind of prints we individually preferred. Bridget was on hand with lots of guidance and inspiration progressing us from printing on paper to material. The weather was wet and windy which made working in natural sun light outside impossible but we used lamps indoors and it did not seem to hamper us all from creating some really lovely pieces to take away with us. We all agreed we would love to do more courses with Bridget and will be signing up for silk painting in the Spring. Two of us travelled from Wiltshire and it was well worth it. A tasty lunch was provided. Thanks again Bridget."

"Annette is a fabulous teacher and shares her knowkedge and experience very generously for every lesson. She showed us a variety of styles and we were all able to create our own projects. I learnt that lino cutting is very versatile and that its normal for a cutting to take many hours. I would throroughly and wholeheartedly recomend this course if you fancy a fun day making prints."

"I have just had a fantastic weekend at Zantium making stained glass. This was my second visit to the Studio and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Alison, who runs the course is always friendly and welcoming, she makes great lunches and even greater cakes! Lili, the tutor, is inspiring - she guides you through every step of the process, gives great advice and encourages you to learn through hands on experience. There were only 6 of us on the course and therefore, as numbers are deliberately kept low, Lili is able to give lots of one to one tuition. A great weekend - I'm looking forward to going back for more!"
