Claire reviewed: Leather long stitch journal / artist's book (beginners)

"I spent the day with Lynne on saturday, and what a fab day it was! As soon as I walked in I felt at home and relaxed, Lynne is very welcoming and had all the lovely leathers out ready to choose from. I loved making my two journals (I was even able to select recycled paper and graph paper!) eating the gorgeous homemade cake, and spending time in her beautiful home. I am already planning on going back after christmas to make the travel journal too. A very informative, fun and productive day!"

Julie reviewed: Full day introduction to glass fusing course.

"Amanda is a very patient and encouraging tutor who takes you carefully through the techniques required to produce two beautiful pieces of glass using two different techniques. A lack of artistic flare is no barrier to working in this medium and confidence comes easily. I would highly recommend this course and this tutor. Lunch being provided (homemade and delicious) make this a course to really remember and an ideal gift for a special birthday."

Heather Griffiths reviewed: Lampworking Workshop: Half Day Beginners Workshop

"We had a great time on this course. Three of us attended this course, from three generations, ranging in age ( 17 to 70.) We had an amazing morning, Suzanne explained and demonstrated everything so clearly and went at our varying paces. The process is mesmerising and relaxing, we are all hooked. We received our beads 2 working days later and we are very proud of what we have produced. I would recommend it to all."

Suzanne Jewellery responded:

"Thank you for your review Heather, so pleased you all enjoyed your morning."

Jane Johnson reviewed: Asymmetrical basket making courses - two days with Joe Gregory at Creative with Nature Todmorden Yorkshire

"I had such a good time on this course - The satisfaction from weaving with willow and natural materials, being taught to weave the most beautiful basket is a fantastic feeling. I cant believe how well I did - a lot of it is down to Joe’s being such a good teacher, extremely patient and attentive - and she has the ratio of students to teacher just right so you get all the help and guidance you need. The gallery/studio itself has a very calming, comfortable atmosphere - I felt right at home - I’m already booked onto the next Stag Head course - I can’t wait :-)"

Creative with Nature Ltd responded:

"That's really kind! Thank you Jane, glad you got so much out of it, including your beautiful basket!! xxx"

Thanks Eleanor - I might be back!"

Donna Kelty reviewed: Asymmetrical basket making courses - two days with Joe Gregory at Creative with Nature Todmorden Yorkshire

"The shop is based in the lovely old town of Todmorden, with plenty of on street parking and places to go for lunch. This is the third course I have been to, and I have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. But the two day basket making course was fantastic. Joe is extremely patient with everyone. I now have much more of an appreciation for baskets now that I know how much work goes into each and everyone of them. I adore the basket I made and due to the hard work I put into the making of it, I know it will be part of my home for a very long time. The price may seem expensive, don't let this put you off. Yes you can but one cheaper, but it will never mean as much to you as the one you created from sticks of willow. A course to teach basketry and appreciation of an age old craft. can't wait for the next course - already booked!"

Creative with Nature Ltd responded:

"Thank you Donna! you did such a good job! and a pretty advanced weave with the zigzags for a beginner!! well done. xxx"

Carly Walters reviewed: Hand Spinning For All - Norfolk

"Really lovely day learning a new skill. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, beautiful setting and Theresa is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her subject. I treated my Mum to the workshop as a gift and really enjoyed coming along with her and learning something new. I was completely hopeless but Theresa has the patience of a saint and I was spinning away by lunchtime. Would recommend to anyone with an interest in spinning or just as a day out doing something different."

Mike reviewed: Contemporary stool making weekend course

"The ease and encouragement that Ambrose brings to teaching make the whole process of learning a new skill not only less daunting but positively enjoyable. A stool might just be a stool but a stool created from lumps of wood with your own hand is a piece of creative and useful art."

Susan reviewed: Lucy Churchill's Stone Carving Workshops

"The stone carving class is simply wonderful. Lucy is an amazing teacher and very talented artist. The three day course allows more than adequate time to learn how to stone carve and bring home a finished piece. It also provides the skills to carve independently, As another reviewer stated, time really flies by with perfect breaks filled with delicious food. I have attended two classes thus far and have signed up for another next year. Perhaps it is a testimony to how much I enjoy the class that I fly over the Atlantic from the States to attend!"
