Megan howley reviewed: One day silver jewellery making in Worcestershire.

"On Saturday I had a wonderful day learning how to make a silver jewellery. On the canal boat we got very creative and Jonathan was an excellent teacher. It was the perfect setting to celebrate my boyfriends birthday (he loved it too). We learnt some basic skills and then went on to making a silver ring to take home. What a beautiful, relaxing day which I’ve recommended to all my friends. Expect plenty of tea and cake and great company. Thank you Jonathan for a great day!"

Salt Way Silver responded:

"Thank you Megan for the kind review. It was great to see you all again on the boat and I look forward to hearing about more of your crafting adventures Jonathan"

Marianne Langley reviewed: Leather Bag Workshop - Two day Evancliffe Leathercraft Workshop

"Another excellent course, which was a perfect follow on from the Evancliffe belt-making course earlier in the year. Clive and Wendy are excellent, patient, knowledgeable tutors. I am so thrilled with the bag I made, which was a version of a messenger bag. This course is suitable for beginners or people who have had chance to try leather-work before. Beware, you will be hooked!"

"A wonderful, if somewhat exhausting, experience. From very nervous beginnings it was quite remarkable how much progress could be made during the course of a couple of days. Both myself, and especially my family, were amazed at the results."

"Excellent company to deal with, second holiday and have booked future third holiday. Easily reached on phone, personal touch, concerns dealt with and holiday tailored to needs. May seem expensive but having priced hotel and travel separately Arena cost less and included more ie small group size, guide and tutors."

Miss Kainz reviewed: Knitting in the Faroe Islands

"Everything was well prepared and the guides were very good. The only not so nice thing was the dinner at the end of the trip. the food was cold and exactly the same as on the first evening meal. Otherwise I would recommend this trip and this agency to my friends."

"I enjoyed this course , Wendy and Clive were very good at imparting information in a relaxed and easy manner, I was able to finish the bag within the time, and took home something that looked good and was very functional. They were also able to supply a list of good Band B's in the area. I left the course with enough skills to start my own project when I got back home."

Heather Coulson reviewed: Rustic Furniture Making – 2 day course

"What can I say? I had absolutely brilliant time on this course. As a complete novice (but with an interest in woodwork) this course was perfect. Mark was clear in his instructions. Also explaining how we got to have the logs in front of us, and giving us a little lesson in the parts of a tree trunk, which I thought was a nice touch. I would definitely go on this course again, and I'm thinking of signing up for the spoon carving course Mark also holds. I think I may have fallen in love with green woodworking!"
