Yvonne King reviewed: Lino-printing onto fabric

"I found this lino printing workshop really good fun to do. Suzanne made some helpful suggestions with my design, and the lino was quite easy to work with. It was great to see the end result and have our own cards to take away."

The Arienas Collective responded:

"Hi Yvonne. How lovely to get your feedback, and thank you for taking the time. The newer style of lino we use is much easier to cut than I remember from my school days! And we love to send people home with something they've completed. Hopefully you can continue lino printing at home onto different products. Best wishes, Lynn"

Annabel Barnett reviewed: Two day Monoprint and Collagraph Print workshop

"I undertook Ruth’s two day course recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would love to do it again! Ruth is a great teacher; she encourages creativity, experimentation and once techniques have been explained she allows students to follow their own ideas. The work created on the first day can be incorporated into the second day and there’s plenty of opportunity to create a substantial amount of art work. She was also an excellent host offering regular refreshments, home made fridge cake and a delicious variety of fresh salads, cheese and bread for lunch. Highly recommend."

Claire Hodge reviewed: Sterling Silver Stacker Rings x 3

"A fantastic few hours spent without Jane refreshing my jewellery skills. She was extremely lovely, calm and patient showing me as many skills as she could in the time allocated. There was great communication before the course asking what I’d like to make and letting me know what materials if need to bring along. I had a craft course voucher but because I’d already got the basics I asked if they would do a one to one session and I was so appreciative that they could accommodate me. A 4hour slot was organised with one to one help. The ladies couldn’t be lovelier or more welcoming. I would recommend doing a course here."

Steward & Mclean responded:

"Glad you enjoyed the day Clair. Many thanks."

eleanor shenton reviewed: Beginners Stained Glass Course, Copper foil work

"I thoroughly enjoyed the course. Set in an idyllic spot, even on wet November days! We had a grand time and were very well fed with homemade lunches. On top of that I created something rather lovely considering I'd not tried it before. I would definitely recommend Brenda's courses and I'm hoping to go on another one soon and learn a different technique."

It was a relaxing, enjoyable way to spend a Saturday & I hope to book another course next year. Thanks!"

Yeeun reviewed: Small Leather Goods Workshop

"I’ve really enjoyed my time making a leather belt as a gift for my boyfriend at Richard’s worshop. Richard was very welcoming and patient. He gave us interesting facts behind leather while showing us some great samples of vegetable tanned leathers. It was very relaxing workshop as it was only a group of three. I didn’t fall behind with making, as Richard was very helpful to every one of us. Also he happily answered any questions that we had. Well recommended if you are interested in making leather items!"

Molley scoble reviewed: 1-Day Jewellery Making Silver Copper Workshop for 2 people

"As a complete beginner this class was perfect, but it is also for more experienced makers or those visiting again! We all came away with something we were very happy with and all different from each other, one person made three stacking rings, another a pair of long dangly earrings and I made a necklace and small ring. Linda was a great teacher and explained the whole process with patience and enthusiasm, the small class size making the lesson feel personal and very educational."

Linda Sandeman Jewellery responded:

"Thanks Molley for the great review. I loved sharing the day with you. Your pendant is so wonderful and unique. I just love it! x"

Inka reviewed: Creative self discovery

"I met Sandra at a networking event and I was immediately drawn to her wonderful personality. I always wanted to up my creativity, but I have learned that I am better with tuition, so I have joined Sandra at one of her 1 day Creative Experience Workshops which gave me an insight on how Sandra works! Signing up for the creative self discovery course was a total no-brainer. I loved my time with this fantastic lady, the course is well structured and there is a different topic every time - and best of all, a lot is upcycling. You get some homework, which gets you into the habit of continuing your journey of self finding at home and I certainly replaced some bad habits by sitting down and colouring instead after only two sessions. Sandra gives you a lot of time and support and also gives you the freedom of implementing your own ideas. All materials are included and you do not only take 7 projects home, but several! I consider myself as pretty self aware already but I still had several light bulb moments through this course and I highly recommend it - it will change your world! This is money very well spent and super value as you get soooooo much out of it!!"

Lesley Gordon reviewed: Lino-printing onto fabric

"I really enjoyed this workshop. It was my first time Lino Printing but with Suzanne’s guidance I produced some lovely cards. There is plenty of time to complete each step and Arienas Collective provides a homely setting and a lovely lunch. You take away all the materials so I’ve been able to give it a go at home. Would definitely recommend."

The Arienas Collective responded:

"Hello Lesley. Thanks for taking time to leave us feedback, and I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed your workshop. Our courses are designed so that people learn a skill they can continue at home if they want to, so it's lovely to hear you've carried on with your lino printing! Best wishes, Lynn"

Charlotte Robinson reviewed: Powertex fabric sculpture introduction session

"I had a wonderful time on this introductory course. I attended knowing barely anything about powertex and with no firm idea about any designs i wanted to produce. Annette was wonderfully informative and the class split between instruction and practical was spot on. The atmosphere was great and there was loads of choice to make something really creative rather than making a prescribed design. I would heartily recommend."

Michelle Du Maurier reviewed: Two day Free Machine Embroidery workshop

"Such an amazing opportunity to have a tutor to yourself ! Ruth was very welcoming and I felt instantly at ease working in her studio. The 2 days flew by and they were well planned, I came away with new skills and confidence to continue creating on my own . The 2 day course is enough for any level to attend and come away feeling like they’ve developed new skills . Thoroughly recommended"
