Devinder Riat reviewed: 'Art of Stained Glass' - Oldbury, Birmingham

"An excellent and truly inspiring course in every way from start to finish. A full introduction to stained glass window making was provided. Followed by an amazing level of care, guidance and support, that helped to help secure the expertise needed to make a window from scratch to completion. I left feeling well equipped with the knowledge, understanding and skills to create my own pieces of art. Thank you Jamal, it was a wonderful retreat from work. I will be booking the painting on glass course soon."

Ian Davies reviewed: A one day spoon carving course

"I have just enjoyed, quite simply, one of the most rewarding days of my life. Starting with a green log of wood to taking home a carved spoon, Sharif takes you through all the stages with patience, humour and an infectious enthusiasm. I had always thought I would like to start green wood working as a hobby when I retired, now I am sure. Sharif gives you the confidence to handle the tools safely and to produce something of which you can be righty proud. To watch something appear from a simple log using basic tools is a joy that becomes addictive. Thank you Sharif, this is only the start for me!"

Ian Davies reviewed: Learn to Turn in the Dartmoor National Park

"I have just spent one of the most rewarding days of my life under the watchful eye of Chris! Not only is he a first rate teacher but such a nice person as well. From arrival at his workshop through to finishing the bowl I turned, this was such an experience. His enthusiasm for wood turning is infectious and, coupled with his endless patience and cups of tea made for a fantastic day. If you have no experience of woodturning or wish to expand your knowledge then look no further as you will not be disappointed. Thank you Chris, the bowl will have a special place in our new home."

"This course is excellent. Sarah is an engaging teacher and very welcoming. She taught about flowers and how to use them to their best potential. She demonstrated this by producing a lovely display and then helped us with our own display which we took home with us. My husband was amazed! Mr Bryan reviewed: 2 Day Leather Practical Skills Course

"My 5 words to describe this course: organised, informative, personalised, practical and supportive all the way through! Richard’s workshop has a range of tools (even traditional/classic ones) and beautiful leather to choose from. It’s unbelievable how much you learn in 2 days for a beginner like myself. I can’t be any prouder of my veg-tanned vintage-style card holder made during the first day of the course. It’s just a joy to contemplate. Thanks to Richard for teaching us such a wonderful craft and making it available to all, as well as his kindness and hospitality. It has been superb experience!"

"Cathy was such an inspiration and shared her extensive knowledge of all sorts of crafts. Her husband made some delicious flapjacks which we enjoyed with coffee on our arrival and introduction to wet felting. Cathy left us felting for a bit while she produced an amazing lunch set in her beautiful garden! We made a lovely wet felted bag, had some real belly laughs, in a gorgeous setting. An amazing day, thanks, Cathy."

Eleanor reviewed: Spoon carving for beginners with Green Fox Wild Crafts

"I loved this day soooo much. I have wanted to work through the process of making a simple cooking spoon for ages, from start to finish, and return home with knowledge and skills to continue this craft with a good beginners confidence, and Nadine’s course gave me this and more. A really practical day, hands on seeing this process through. Nadine gives a great balance of support, knowledge and wisdom and also letting you get on with it. A very inspiring person to work with. The setting too was wonderful, so special, in a beautiful woodland with lovely touches of teas, coffees and treats. Thank you Nadine! Just ordered my sharpening kit! X"

Alec reviewed: Georgie's needle felting animals

"I did an afternoon course and absolutely loved it. Arts & crafts isn't normally my thing because I'm fairly cack-handed but in the end I was actually delighted with my little bunny. It was amazing to see how everyone was given the same materials and the same instructions but each person came up with something that was a totally different character. Would recommend to this course to anyone, I was utterly absorbed and the time flew by. Thanks Georgie!"

Georgies Felted Friends responded:

"I am very pleased you were able to join a course Alec and that you enjoyed it. Your magician bunny had enormous character and personality."
