"As a total newbie to pottery I was a little worried about not being able to do anything and coming away disappointed. I couldn’t have been more wrong and my worries were unfounded. Richard was kind, patient and a brilliant teacher. I had an absolute blast and can’t wait to see how my items turned out! It doesn’t matter if you’re a novice or if you’re a worrier, Richard was great throughout the whole session!"

"This was a wonderful, gentle, relaxing day, resulting in my daughter, 11 year old grand-daughter, her friend and myself each making an impressive necklace. Eleanor showed us examples of necklaces, told us how she came to experiment with the process of transforming egg boxes into beads, and patiently took us through step by step. We were given plenty of opportunity to experiment with painting previously made beads, using a wide variety of colours and metallic paints. Then, after a lovely lunch, with lots of laughter, we painted our own beads, and threaded them into our necklaces. I wore mine this morning and a very well dressed friend of mine complimented me on my outfit. I highly recommend this course and am looking forward to a return visit with other friends of mine."

If Eve or Onoko, or any of you make some beads I would be happy to drop by with my drill and do the holes. - no problem. I am thinking of offering birthday /celebration workshops. These would be for 2 hours, and consist of decorating premade beads, paint,gold, stars etc etc. Bring your own cake, tea/coffee supplied. "I had a great week at the Wood Workshop under the tuition of Richard and Mark - they willingly share their exquisite skills and knowledge in all things to do with wood and tools to work with the wood. The balance of tuition and letting you get on with it, under a careful to eye to gently steer you back on track if, like me, you veer off course. I made a spinning stool - my family are very impressed. The course gave me the opportunity to try out many tools and machines that I would have shied away from if not given the confidence by this course. I feel much better equipped to start using my lathe at home and a much better understanding of the design and making process. I highly recommend Richard and Mark as teachers. I'm all ready for course 2 now. Thank you."

"I thoroughly enjoyed the needle felted teddy bear workshop. Sally was very welcoming and I felt at ease throughout the day within a small friendly group of like minded people keen to learn a new skill. Sally was a very good tutor, very patient and demonstrated all aspects of making the teddy bear clearly and simply. We all completed a little teddy bear on the course and I went away having learnt a lot more about needle felting. I highly recommend this course for anyone who has never needle felted before or for those who already have some experience."

"We wanted to make our own rings so they would be unique so we reached out to Sarah to do a wedding ring workshop. From the start, Sarah was super accommodating. She picked us from the station and we immediately felt comfortable. She then took us to her very cute and welcoming workshop and we had the most wonderful day. Sarah is a very patient and kind teacher. Every step, she would encourage us and push us without sacrificing the quality of the rings we were designing. We started with a practice ring in the morning and did the real thing in the afternoon - so we felt a lot more comfortable. We were delighted with the rings we produced. Sarah is a professional jeweller and artist - her craft is impressive, but she is also able to share her passion with the participants. We would highly recommend it! Stop buying your rings, make them with Sarah!"

"Wow! Attended Kerry's business candle making workshop on 10/10/19 and what an experience. Went in with next to no knowledge or experience on candle making and came out with a wealth of information! I would recommend this workshop 100% to everyone who is looking to get into candle making or setting up a business. Every area was covered and every question answered in great detail. Arrived to a very warm welcome from Kerry... such a lovely lady and great teacher you honestly couldn't ask for more. Thank you so much.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"Really enjoyed it. Annamarie is really welcoming, really talented, really laid back and happy to share her knowledge. I made a pendant for my sister and now I want to make one for myself. I've been on courses before where they offer what it says on the tin but don't offer any other information - like you're going to become competition or something. This lady gave me all the information I need, including a basic tools list, to get going at home. I wish now I'd booked the full day but I'm going to practice and then go back for some more input. Chocolate covered ginger biscuits were a hit too!! Thanks for a really interesting workshop - and thatn's for being so open."

"This has been a complete shock. It was bought as a gift for me and I'd never have thought of buying it for myself as I didn't really know anything about metal clay - but it is amazing. It's magical the way it is silver when fired and I'm now hooked. This lady is super clever with the clay - her work is amazing but most of us on the day were new to the clay and she was fab - so generous with her information and patience and I can't believe I left with a pendant and earrings to match - which I'm wearing right now! I travelled a bit of a way but I definitely plan to come back - hopefully for a one to one session. Thank you for a really great day......what a fab gift it turned out to be."

"I booked onto this workshop as I've been interested in wire wrapping for a while and have done some very basic pieces. Annamarie was wonderful, and so talented with wire - she worked with me to improve my skills. I learnt new weaves but what was really great was the amount of tips I got which make it so much clearer and easier. I loved it. I booked it on my own but met others who were lovely and we had a good laugh while making a really lovely piece of jewellery. Thank you for a great time and thank you for your patience. "What an amazing day - and such fun too. Annamarie provided a workshop that was so packed and informative and yet so relaxed & easy going. I had no experience of wire work but have left with a lovely amethyst stone captured in wire. Me and my friend had a great time - what a lovely birthday present. True to her promise - there was plenty of tea and biscuits - and a really warm welcome. I'd recommend this, no problem and we'll be back to do the silver clay workshop too. Thank you for a great day."

Chris' tuition was perfectly tailored to each of our individual experience, detailed instruction but equally hands off which allowed us to find our own technique. We made an amazing companion set for our log burner, have come away feeling super proud of ourselves and are now harbouring aspirations to become blacksmiths! It felt brilliant to make something together that will be used in our home for years to come. A perfect day, a perfect birthday present, great value, great teacher! Thank you Chris! "Had a wonderful day making a stained glass panel with Caryl. This was my second workshop ( I tried copper foiling a couple of months ago) and I was not disappointed. The group was small and Caryl is an excellent teacher, introducing the techniques clearly but then letting us work as independently as we wished offering encouragement and support when needed, and providing all the tools and a huge selection of glass. It was a full day, cutting the glass in the morning then leading in the afternoon, with an excellent lunch and plenty of tea and coffee to keep us going. Everyone goes home with a piece they can be proud of. I would wholeheartedly recommend a workshop with Caryl."
