Bev reviewed: Painting course - Intermediate (watercolour or acrylic)

"Always wanted to try and paint, was a utter beginner. Cat was a great teacher, patient and always encouraging even when I thought it was all going wrong. Lovely class, warm, friendly and very relaxing. Would recommend to anyone who is an utter beginner. Like Cat kept saying to me "everyone can paint" and yes it was true I got there in the end and loved every minute of it."

CatKing Artwork responded:

"Thank you! That's very kind of you Bev. Great to have you in the class -a lovely group - I hope to see your next painting soon! Cat"

Toni Pincott reviewed: Conscious Interior Decor; For holistic living

"How the basics at art classes at school should have been! I learnt more about colour in one morning than hours in a classroom in the 70s. Lucy has an incredibly easy, approachable and informative style which means every part of her sessions are full of learning and ease. She offers excellent one to one support but the benefits of being with the fellow students are considerable - from hearing projects they have done or plan, to gaining confidence on what can be achieved."

Daniel Docker reviewed: Photography Days

"Thank you Sue and Richard for the excellent one day course yesterday. You gave a great introduction to what my camera can do, and how I can use it. The work out in the field really helped to consolidate your explanations, and to practice the various settings. The afternoon in the studio, explaining the software, and then downloading and editing the photos was really good. I also enjoyed testing the capabilities of my camera on the studio close ups of flowers. I now feel not only much more confident that I can begin to get the best from my camera, but also what other bits would help me, and where I can get them from. Thank you!"

Art by Camera responded:

"Thanks, Dan, hope you get a lot of enjoyment from your photography!"

Isla Armstrong reviewed: Beginners’ Dry Stone Walling Course

"A group of 4 of us attended this course in Otley and what a wonderful time we had. The staff were brilliant, very knowledgable and extremely welcoming. Our instructor Bill was lovely and funny, we had so much fun we all wanted to take him home with us! All communication before hand was extremely quick and very helpful. We stayed at a local air bnb that was recommended by the course organiser Brian and it was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. The whole weekend was ten out of ten in my estimation. Tom Heller reviewed: Stained glass weekly classes in Sheffield (South Yorkshire)

"It would be hard to find fault with Martin, his teaching or the whole workshop set up he has created. It's just great getting to the class each week and leaving all other stuff behind. During the session Martin is always around to offer help and guidance - but also knows when to leave us along to get on with our own projects."

Carmen Danahar reviewed: Beginners Weaving Workshop in Brighton

"Amazing! Shiv was attentive, patient and knowledgeable! I was with a group of friends and in a short time we were all completely focused and excited practising our new skill. The whole experience was so much fun but also massively therapeutic and a welcome break from every day life! Shiv is extremely talented and it was brilliant to get a chance to see some of her environmentally conscious and ethical handmade products and to look around her studio. It was lovely to enjoy a Prosecco with friends and have something at the end that I had made. Perfect afternoon."
