‘Prosecco Potters’ is a monthly pottery night at Oakes Barn on the third Friday of the month from 7.30-9.30pm. Have fun creating in a social setting over a complementary glass of Prosecco! This session's theme is Christmas! You will make hanging Christmas tree decorations using the traditional hand-building slab technique. Personalise your decorations with cutting shapes, stamps and textures. You will use air-dry clay and take away your decorations to dry, paint / varnish, ready to display for Christmas! No prior experience necessary - all abilities welcome!

All materials, apron and a complementary glass of prosecco. Hanging threads and additional decorative embellishments are provided.

Maker
Louise is a practicing artist, well-known within the local community with her public art displayed in the town of Bury St Edmunds. From her Suffolk-based studio Louise produces ceramics inspired by the female form. As a member of CPA and Anglian Potters Louise regularly exhibits. Louise is a teacher of 23 years; she currently teaches part-time at a Sixth Form College in Suffolk and leads workshops and classes within the local community. She brings fun, passion and energy to her workshops and classes making the arts accessible to all.

There is no parking at the venue but there is ample parking in the town which is free after 6pm.
Aprons are provided but you can bring your own if you prefer!
