2-hour 'body bits' pottery workshop for your hen party, birthday or other gathering
Description
In this group workshop, perfect for hen parties, stag dos or other celebrations, you can do something different and make a cheeky, body positive creation out of clay. Everyone will get to make a beautiful pot out of clay, adorned with a pair of boobs (or another body part!) You can choose one of our lovely dipping glazes for it to be decorated with. Once your creations are made, we will glaze and fire them in our kiln The pots can be posted to you, or someone can come and collect them from our studio in Brighton. No pottery experience or creative talent is needed, just a sense of humour. Minimum group size is 6 people, maximum group size is 35. For groups of 6 - 8 people the party can be held in my studio, for larger groups I use the lovely Twisted Lanes cocktail bar in the very central South Lanes area of Brighton at no extra cost. Alternatively, I can travel to a venue of your choice if there is a suitable space in which to do the workshop. (Travel costs may apply depending on distance.) The workshops generally run from 11am - 1pm or 2.30 - 4.30pm, but there is a bit of flexibility in those timings which we can discuss when you enquire.
What's included in the price?
All materials, and each person will be given a glass of bubbly or soft drink. If the party is being held at my studio then feel free to bring additional drinks, at the bar additional drinks can be purchased.

Maker
In my own work, I use clay to celebrate the beautiful and diverse human body, by sculpting body parts onto beautiful and functional pieces of ceramics. I run occasional one-day workshops where you can make your own piece of body positive pottery. I also run regular pottery classes from my studio in Brighton, which are suitable for anyone and students are free to choose what they make. My classes are small (maximum 7 students), so lots of 1-2-1 attention (and tea!) is provided.
