Half Day Potters Wheel & Clay Hand Building at The Crafty Potter, Heskin

Whether you have always wanted a go at pottery or just something fun to do, come and join us for this fabulous Half-Day Pottery Experience at our pottery studio in the beautiful village of Heskin, Lancashire. The session runs Tuesday to Saturday every week. The classes are for adults aged 16 and over & are suitable for beginners. Up to 5 people can attend the session. The session starts by having some fun throwing pots on the potter's wheel. Your first pot is made with help, tips and advice along the way, you then have time to have a go by yourself. We then move over to the work bench to add surface decoration to your creations You will be shown how to prepare, mould & add clay to your work, having access to our cutters, moulds and potter tools. Bisque firing is included in the session, ready for collection 3 weeks later. They can then be painted with acrylics at home. Should you wish you can return to the studio for glazing, this is an optional extra at a cost of £15pp. The Crafty Potter studio is based within Heskin shopping Village, a unique retail and leisure destination featuring over 40 unique shops and businesses, With free parking we’re a perfect destination for you to make a great fun day out. The class makes a fabulous gift for all occasions.

All tuition and materials needed are included. use of the studio tools and equipment Bisque firing of your creation - collected at a later date.
