"My friend and I did Sally’s beginner needle felting course on Saturday, we both had such a fantastic day, it was so worth the 1.5 hour drive each way! My friend made a Robin and I did a blue tit. I don’t have an artistic bone in my body but quite quick I could see the shape emerging from a bit of fluffy wool! It’s very relaxing and we had a good laugh. Sally was such a warm and giving lady, really made the experience so great. X"

"We had a lovely creative evening, really fun, and it was encouraging to be able to produce such surprisingly good stamps so easily. Fiona is a great teacher, working at the right pace, showing and talking through it. Nice to have all the materials supplied and to be able to take the stamps etc home. Also she makes very good cakes!"

"The day spent with Allison was most enjoyable. It was a full day covering all aspects of making skincare products. She is very knowledgeable and is happy to share that knowledge in an easy to understand way which allowed me to make not only a facial oil but also a balm, moisturiser and toner. "I loved this Christmas course. I made personal decorations for my family plus I played around with different ideas I had myself. The course gives simple instructions and practice of various cutting techniques. Martin is very friendly checking in to make sure you understand what you are doing and gives constructive feedback so you can change and develop ideas. It was also nice to see some of his current work this time showing what is possible with glass crafts."

"An incredibly satisfying and enjoyable weekend of knife making! Walked away with a tool that I was extremely proud of and which I have already used on numerous occasions since. Arian hits the nail on the head with his teaching style, guiding you through what is actually a huge number of different skills and disciplines at the pace needed to get finished in time, but without ever feeling like you’re rushed or that you don’t have enough time to make a thought out decisions about the knife you’re making. The workshop has everything you could possibly want, with a welcoming, relaxed and friendly atmosphere too! Will definitely recommend it to family and friends and hope to be back visiting the Nailsworth workshop for another project or course soon. Thank you, Arian and co!"

"I booked this course for my mum's 60th birthday, and we had the best time thanks to Diane. Diane was so warm and welcoming, and we felt immediately at home. She was patient with us when we had no clue what we were doing - but soon learned lots about the basics of perfume making. I had expected to make a pretty dodgy perfume, but I love what I made and now use it every day! Highly recommend it if you're looking for a new activity to try."

"My friends and I do a yearly Xmas craft and this one is up there with our favourites. We had so much fun learning new skills and the atmosphere was so relaxed and welcoming. No rush at all and the fizz was a perfect treat. So our happy with our wreaths and endless options to do more. Would recommend it to everyone"

"Gerry gives confidence, even for absolute beginners in wood carving, by offering step by step expert demonstrations and calm supportive one to one mentoring. He and his wife Barbara opened their house for lunch and we were treated to delicious homemade soup and sandwiches. He negotiated with all participants to take a Covid lateral flow test at the start of the first day. I feel inspired to continue wood carving."

"I had a BRILLIANT afternoon with Philip in his workshop. I really felt as though Philip tailored the time to my particular learning goals and experience (of which I went in with literally zip). I've come away feeling both more confident practically (my original aim) and creatively inspired. A week later and I'm still buzzing (like a fret saw) about woodworking!"

Wendy made it easy to produce lovely pieces of paper from all the unwanted stuff that comes through our letterboxes, plus a variety of pretty embellishments. Outstanding value, easy to replicate at home with the frame provided, and good coffee too!"
