"What an amazing day. It was our first time making cards and we enjoyed every moment. The three Squirrels (Debbie, Claire and Clare) were fantastic and made us feel so welcome. It was superb value for money and a lovely way to meet new people who were doing so many different things. The demos were excellent and help was always at hand. The tools and equipment available were amazing; we had everything we could wish for and more. The cakes and cups of tea/coffee were in plentiful supply and it was a fun way to spend a Saturday learning a new craft. We shall be back, that's for sure! Thank you Squirrels :-)"

"I have attended the two day course at Blue Sky Mosaics on two occasions. The first time was a gift from my husband and I couldn't have had a better birthday experience . Ann is a warm, giving teacher whose easy manner enables her students to learn a new craft and possibly develop a lifelong love of mosaic. There is inspiration aplenty around her studio with many of her own mosaics on display and there is a wonderful array of materials for student to use to create unique artworks to take home."

"I would like to thank George and Sue for the lovely relaxed reception, which immediately put me at ease. Following a thorough explanation of what was going to take place, the morning consisted of making the bottom of the bowl, from a lovely piece of Sycamore, using the lathe and the cutting tools. With the bottom finished it was time for a delicious lunch, biscuits and a cup of tea! The afternoon session saw the completion of the bowl, with a laquer finish and one extremely happy customer! "Rachel is a great tutor who uses skill alongside gentle humour to make us feel confident. She takes our ideas and helps us produce something unique. We were all excited by our results and each person took home a felt picture ready to mount, frame and hang on the wall. She had lots of suggestions for other ways to display our work, to make our picture part of a bag for example, different ways of framing or taking the process a step further by embellishing by hand or machine."

The demonstrations in small groups were excellent and simple to follow. All 3 Squirrels were keen, friendly and very knowledgeable, help was on hand throughout the day for questions, hints and tips (thanks very much!). So many different types of stamps, die’s and paper to experience. Hot drinks and yummy cakes in plentiful supply all day. Highly recommended."

"Was a great weekend and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who is interested in crafting. Not only is it fun but you end up with usable and practical items at the end of it. We ended up getting the bracket zinc coated and painted with Richard and now it is outside in full display with an appropriate light hanging off it and it looks perfect! Make sure you follow the recommendation of strengthening your hammering arm before you go though as you will definitely need it!"

"An fantastic day spent with Lynne at Studio Tuesday in Haslemere. I arrived as a complete novice but by the end of the day I felt completely comfortable with all stages of picture mounting. Lynne demonstrated all aspects of the process and ensured, step by step, that I understood and was able to work competently on my own. The course also included 'finding the picture' and considering different mount sizes and borders. She showed patience and understanding and passed on lots of tips and suggestions to make the process easier. On the day I mounted two photographs and framed one of them. Very pleased. "I purchased this as a Yule present for my partner. The two day course was in a lovely setting and the studio was a good size with lots of room to work in. Sebastian was friendly and has a relaxed and informal approach to teaching but always on hand should you need him. It's amazing what you can achieve working with this soft bath stone even if, like me, you're not artistic! We were in a group of eight people who all seemed to enjoy their weekend and produced a little work of art! Just a great weekend"

"Arrived and was immediately offered a cup of tea with a selection of biscuits. Enjoyed the tea while having an in-depth discussion about the different types of leather and dyeing techniques. Then it was belt making time; learning how to cut and stitch leather, practising on small scraps before committing to the actual belt, all under the careful supervision of Richard. Every question was answered, every detail explained and at every step I was given the time to get it right and walk away with my own handcrafted belt. If you want to try leathercraft for the first time, I can highly recommend Richards' class. It's friendly, relaxed, informative and well structured."
