"Wonderful course - Catherine explains everything clearly and is very willing to answer all questions. All equipment needed is provided and the small group (6) is ideal. All the materials to make the soap were good - lots of choice of essential oils, colours etc. Notes and recipes from the course are also very helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the day - thank you, Catherine for all your help."

"I really can recommand to do the ceramics course with Su. She is a very lovely person who created a place where you feel good and get ideas, many techniques and also tea and snacks in between. Both, doing your own thing and discussing your ideas with others is appreciated. When you feel stuck in your creative process Su helps you to find out what you wanna do next in a very kind way. I def wanna learn more as the outcome is really beautiful and astonishing. It's a good place to take a break from allday life and do something good for yourself and to learn something really interesting and fun."

"I couldn't recommend this workshop more! Catherine was so lovely and very informative. Was a bit nervous having never made soap before but she makes you feel at ease and demonstrates very well & has you making soaps like a pro at the end! Was a lovely setting too and nice how its just 6 people so very one to one. I had so much fun. I'll be attending more of her workshops and I've left feeling very confident in soap making."

"Very enjoyable and instructive course with Peter who was well supported by apprentice Joe. Went through the whole process of making a stool / small table from start to finish in a beautiful setting in Devon using lots of tools and techniques and different sorts of wood. I had not done this sort of thing before but Peter gave me confidence from the very start that all would turn out well. The other nice aspect of the course was how everyone was happy to help each other out and there was a very friendly and supportive atmosphere throughout. Heartily recommended for a very enjoyable and fulfilling weekend"

"I recently took part in the pottery course, with Richard an excellent teacher. He was so patient, as a first timer throwing pots is not as easy as it may look, but within a couple of goes we all had usable pots! Fantastic! You would think having the lesson with 3 newbies would be a nightmare but it was taken in his stride, with all of us having a joyful and memorable lesson. Definitely highly recommend, will be attending again!"

"I would just like to say what a wonderful day I had with Christine , making a felt hat. Four of us students altogether, with three of us makng hats, and the other one making a nuno scarf. All so fascinating, with lots of banter between us, and such a fab lunch made by Christine’s hubby, not forgetting Christine’s homemade ‘FlatJacks’!"

"I attended a felt hat making course and enjoyed every part of it. The start with great coffee. Christine warmly explains every step and diplomatically explains should you make a mistake! Not that I did!! Flapjacks for mid morning and a fabulous homemade, with homegrown ingredients, lunch just topped off the experience with lovely people. All that and a hat!"

"As a designer of fashion, jewellery and accessories I needed to learn techniques to make some rather quirky ideas a reality. Jonathan was exactly the tutor I needed. We had an instant understanding of the design process and a great rapport. The day was full of banter, humour, laughter and information. Jonathan is an excellent teacher and a generous and easy going man. Perfect day, inspiring, uplifting, well worth the money. His wife Helen was warm and welcoming and provided me with gluten-free biscuits and lunch. Will be back for stone setting. Thank you for a lovely day."
