"Peter is a superb craftsman who is happy to share his extensive knowledge and experience. Although I had done several courses with Peter before, I found this course challenging as I was making a fairly large dining room table, but I was very well supported throughout the design and making periods and added new skills to those previously learnt with Peter. We now have a table which looks great in its setting and with which my wife & I are very pleased."

"I went to this class yesterday for the first time and loved it. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. It was really an intermediate project rather than a beginners project but the others who had been going for a while helped me with the tricky parts and I am really excited to have made my own bag with a lining, zip and box corners. I think Bridget and Karen try to choose a project each month that practises a new skill and I am looking forward to the next one. It's definitely easier to bring your own sewing machine, but there is everything there that you might need or have forgotten. A great class overall!"

"The nine days at Peter's workshop where exceptional rewarding. I had the privilege to share this experience with my 14-year-old daughter, who made her own beautiful piece. It was challenging, fun and we learned so much, not only new woodworking skills but also about ourselves and about each other. Peter was the ideal teacher and coach for us, always ready to help and never dominant. His workshop with its outside space is just perfect to be creativ."

"I have just completed the 5 day Course 1. It was BRILLIANT! Prior to this course I had zero knowledge/experience. We were very quickly hands on with the tools, not overkill on lectures, and the 45 min daily talks after lunch were genuinely really interesting. The pace of the course was perfect, Richard and Mark are natural teachers. As there are only 4 students for the 2 teachers you have their help constantly when needed but they also let you get on with it whilst keeping an eye on you from the other side of the workshop. I made a spinning stool and was amazed by the variety of techniques, tools, machines etc that I was taught to use making this one item. The reaction I've received from the photos I've posted on my facebook account are indicative of how professional the finished item looks, I still can't really believe that I made it! I'm definitely going back to do one of the other courses. Thank you Richard and Mark for a fabulous week."

"Jenni's courses are such a treat and so inspirational. This course is set in the most beautiful tranquil location and the lunch is amazing. The course is very well taught and provides the perfect balance of teaching, free practice and individual tuition. Jenni is very helpful but not overbearing or bossy! "Huge thanks to John and Mike for providing a fabulous day of learning and laughter! We were a small group of four which proved ideal for group and individual coaching in the challenging art of dry stone walking. John is patient, encouraging and with a dry sense of humour. We really felt that we'd accomplished something pretty special by the end of our day which incidentally flew by. As the homework suggests, it looks simple but isn't! Johns ability to eyeball a stone and with a deft hammer blow make it fit seamlessly into place is a joy to behold. My family booked this for a Fathers Day present; A great gift with happy memories! It was a very friendly and constructive environment to learn in and I will be framing and hanging my prints. I would recommend this course to any one who wants to learn about lino-printing."

Her projects each term have improved my skill levels as each one is different. If you are a total novice but like the idea of quilting, Sheena's courses are just for you. I would highly recommend."

"I attended Dave's spoon carving course at the wonderful surrounds of Days Cottage. The course was superb, perfectly balanced for the skills of the group yet allowing everyone the chance to work at their own pace. Dave's manner of teaching is highly informative and yet presented in a relaxed manner that encourages you to ask questions and engage with the group. I highly recommend Dave's courses, just beware, you'll be eying every tree as a potential spoon!"

"Have ever thought about a rag rug making course? Will I can highly recommend jenni's rag rug course it is fantastic. Very clear helpful instructions, with all the necessary equipment provided on the day to get you started. If you become hooked! You can purchase books, DVDs, hessian etc. Set in a great location and to top it all a wonderful lunch cooked by Lorenzo. All in all a great day with an added bonus of coming away with a new skill."

"I spent a fantastic day with Lynne at Rum's Egg in Romsey learning how to mount and display my textile art work. She gave very clear instructions and went through the process with us individually after the demonstration. I am thrilled to be able to make professional looking mounts for my work and the textiles look so much better than they did at the start of the day. I have bought most of the tools now and can't wait to put my new skills to good use."

"Rosie worked really hard to provide an excellent week of crafts and walking. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the holiday from collecting plant materials to use in the dyeing and felting workshops to walking in the beautiful countryside. Rosie also cooked really lovely food every day. It was a fantastic experience shared with like minded people. Also enjoyed the yoga and relaxation sessions with Joanie and the singing with Ele."

"I spent a day with Steve on his one day course. I'm a novice and really enjoyed Steve's informal but practical and informative approach to teaching the foundations of woodturning. He is a talented tutor drawing on expertise from his initial hobby days to his accomplished professional years. His workshop is an Aladdin's cave of completed and experimental work, not to mention a tool or bespoke jig for every job! Thanks for an excellent day and good company."

"I arrived 10 minutes late due to traffic. However, soon down to a quick brief on H&S. Kit on and away we went. What a great day I had and my wife was very appreciative of the goodies I brought home, after all she had brought me the course as a birthday present. Stuart is very competent instructor with a good sense of humour and easy manner. Thanks for the brilliant tuition and no my wife tells me I may not get a forge in the back garden."
