"What a fantastic day. I'm still thinking about it three days later and itching to have another go. It's incredible how much we achieved in one day - all down to Dilys of course! Dilys is an excellent teacher, very passionate about enamelling and also very patient when we kept asking questions. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who would like to have a go at enamelling - it's amazing and you'll definitely get the enamelling bug!"

Lin Gregory reviewed: Enamelling on copper

"I am not the most creative of people, so when friends suggested an enamelling day I was a bit apprehensive. However, the day was with Dilys (and Chloe) and it was brilliant! Dilys is such a lovely, generous person and this comes across in the excellent way she teaches. She guides you through the day with a calm encouragement and before you know it, you’re experimenting with different techniques and excitedly waiting to see what treasures might emerge from the kiln! Dilys’ workroom is a comfortable space full of all the materials you need. Thank you Dilys for giving me the enamelling bug and hope to book another day before too long!"

Morag Platt reviewed: Introduction to Making Books

"This class was real value for money. Marion was an expert and attentive teacher and the day just flew by. We all came away with some beautiful little books and loads of ideas to take things further. Tools and equipment were all supplied for use on the workshop, and Marion also gave us details of suppliers and recommended books on the subject as well as providing the opportunity to buy tools to take away. Lunch was good, and there was plenty of tea and biscuits to keep us going."

Jo Thompson reviewed: 6 week photography course Barnsley

"I attended this course in 2017 after stumbling across it on Facebook and it turned out to be fabulous. I had loaned a DSLR camera from my hubby and literally only knew how to switch it on and off when I arrived. Charlotte was super helpful, friendly and taught me so much in the time I was there. My confidence grew week on week and I now take the most amazing pictures for my business and personal life all thanks to Charlotte and all on the manual setting where I adjust exposure etc myself. I am completely hooked and can’t thank her enough. And it is amazing value for money too...I highly recommend it."

Lynne Duckett reviewed: Wood turning courses

"My husband and I had a wonderful day with George Foweraker learning the basics of wood turning. But the end result was far from basic, and produced two fantastic bowls, which far exceeded our expectations. They were friendly and welcoming and Susan did a lovely lunch and provided plenty of drinks. He was patient and encouraging and we had a thoroughly enjoyable day. We have booked another session as soon as we could!"

Jane Henshaw reviewed: Weekend upholstery courses - Oxfordshire & Berkshire Borders

"I had an excellent first experience of upholstery on Philip's course. The weekend was relaxed and enjoyable with some lovely company, as well as being a great learning experience. Not only did I find out about how to tackle the projects I went along with, but also learnt about techniques needed for other people's projects, and with the variety of different projects around the room gained an insight into several techniques. I was very pleased with the outcome I achieved which for a complete beginner was not a given! I look forward to being able to attend another course."

"I looked forward to this Masterclass for months and it didn't disappoint. Bridget made everyone very welcome and the other 5 ladies were lovely. Bridget is an excellent teacher and gave everyone individual attention throughout. I learned a lot of new techniques which I am keen to practise. Everybody seemed to create a lovely picture and I was certainly pleased with the one I did - Although I had some prior experience of felting I could never have done it without Bridget's expert tuition and guidance. I would also recommend the nearby The Ship Inn I intend to book again next winter"
