Greg reviewed: Intro to Green Woodwork

"Mike is a brilliant teacher with a vast amount of knowledge about how to make a piece of wood into a wonderful implement - he's also an expert in woodlands and trees which serves for great knowledge gathering - so - if you want to know about the entire life cycle of a tree of a particular type and then carve that piece of that tree into a useful utensil - there is no one more qualified. Would definitely recommend. He's a great bloke too."

Elizabeth reviewed: One day bangle/ring workshop

"My friend and I had a really lovely day with Jolene. Jolene is very friendly and an excellent teacher. I had never tried any of the techniques before, but successfully managed to make 3 bangles with her guidance, two copper in the morning, and a silver one in the afternoon. I came away feeling extremely proud of my achievements! There were only 4 of us in total on the course, so Jolene had time to assist everyone when she needed to. I would definitely recommend this course. Thank you Jolene for a great day! xx"

Jackie Forbes reviewed: Wire & mixed media sculpture courses with James Ort

"I am just home from the most wonderful two day wire sculpting course with James. It was excellent. I loved the relaxed level of organisation which looked relaxed but was actually bang on. We were set up so fast and empowered and encouraged throughout the two days. James has a lovely coaching style of teaching and ensured we all got one to one time so we could leave feeling we really had achieved something special. I would have no hesitation in recommending this course and actually the studio as a whole - it's a fabulous venue"

Kelly reviewed: Leather Workshop One - on - One

"I travelled from Scotland to do 2 days one to one workshops with Sarah and can honestly say it was absolutely worth the journey. Sarah was patient and really open when teaching. I feel like I've learned loads of new skills that I'll use at home as well as making 3 beautiful bags over the 2 days. The workshop is situated in a beautiful area. I'd definitely like to do come back for another workshop and would highly recommend Sarah's workshops to anyone from a total beginner or like me who has dabbled a little bit with making bags but wants to improve and learn new skills."

Williams Handmade responded:

Judie reviewed: Mosaic workshop at Jackie Nash Art

"Rose, Helen and I enjoyed a day in Jackie's wonderful workshop as a celebration of Rose's special birthday! At the beginning of the day, Jackie gave us an introduction to mosaics and helped us plan our designs. There was a huge choice of coloured tiles for the artwork and the equipment was good. Once we got 'stuck in', it was a relaxing way to spend a Monday. We took our own lunch and drink which Jackie served when we were ready. There were plenty of other drinks available. Thank you Jackie!"
