'Glass for the garden' with the Cheshire School of Glass
Description
There are many applications for glass art but given its ability to change with the light and produce beautiful colours and shadows, nowhere is more relevant than outside and the garden is an ideal location. It is no surprise that glass sculptures are a prominent part of Kew Gardens and prestigious garden shows such as Chelsea Flower Show. What you will make: Beyond learning the basics of how to cut and shape glass, you will produce a stunning double headed 3 dimensional flower that could be used to hold a candle or light AND a glass art panel that will be set into a steel framed structure especially designed for the garden, that can be set into either grass or soil (included in your course fee)
