Description
Spend the day making a waistcoat whilst learning several dressmaking techniques including how to cut out pattern pieces, mark notches, transfer darts, pocket placement, topstitching and button holes. This workshop should give you sufficient time to leave with a finished garment but each person will work at a different pace so please be aware you may have tasks to complete at home to finish your garment. Or you could join us for a sociable sewing session for extra support. Minimum age 16+
What's included in the price?
All equipment and haberdashery is provided but you are welcome to bring your own machine if you prefer. A light lunch and refreshments are provided.
