Perhaps you have a new sewing machine then this is the class for you. If you are a real beginner then you will learn how to: • set up and thread a machine and how to wind a bobbin • set the correct tension • troubleshoot common problems • sew perfectly straight seams and how to finish them If you have attended a similar course in the past, Geraldine will help you build on your knowledge with your machine. Using sewing techniques as well as enhance your confidence with your sewing machine. Geraldine will further your knowledge about how to sew, including using different embroidery stitches on your machine, putting a zip, button holes, using a twin needle and how to cut bias binding and how it can be used. You will also learn about the accessories that come with your machine. Plus lots more. 10am-4pm Saturdays throughout 2025: 25 January, 12 April, 17 May, 28 June, 16 August, 20 September, 1 November In addition to spending your time crafting, Tudor Rose Patchwork offers a special lunchtime menu at O For Coffee for students. You will be emailed a requirements list in advance. You can buy everything you don't already have in our shop. We will always make clear anything that you need for the day that we don't sell so you have time to source elsewhere.

Upon arrival, park in the car park at the front of the shop. Unload your vehicle into your classroom. Staff will then advise you where to park your car for the day at the rear of the complex.
