This full-day group workshop with our guest artist and printmaker, Lizzie Ault, is suitable for all skill levels. Create beautiful cards and decorated envelopes. You will learn how to create your design using the resources provided and get to grips with the techniques for transferring your image to the block. You'll cover how to carve your design, apply ink to your blocks, and then print out your cards. This FULL DAY LINO PRINTING WORKSHOP will be held in the peaceful setting of our Blended Monkey studios on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border. Numbers are limited to ensure you get plenty of 1-2-1 tuition. This lino printing experience is suitable for 16+. About a week before your workshop date, we'll e-mail you again with more details about parking etc. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, and also a lovely lunch, tailored to meet all dietary requirements. All students will be provided with a certificate of completion. What's included in the price?

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and a light, rustic farmhouse-style lunch is also included; tailored to meet all dietary requirements. Depending on the weather/time of year, lunch can be taken either out in the cottage garden or in our country kitchen which has a view over the garden. The 1-day workshop includes: - Materials and use of equipment on the day. - Refreshments (tea/coffee/soft drinks/cake) & lunch - catering to all dietary requirements. - As we limit the number of people, you get to have some 1-2-1 tuition and the maximum benefit from a day with no distractions. - Certificate of completion.

Blended Monkey is a husband and wife team. Our studios are based in a small village on the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire border. Our setting provides ample inspiration for our work, and is perfect for our woodturning & pottery courses. Louise (ceramicist) - I studied at the Falmouth School of Art & Design and I am interested in various art forms, design and applied arts. Simon (woodturner) - I love working with wood & exploring its versatility. I'm a member of the AWGB and APTGW.
