Winter Lino Cuts, Fabric Printing and Stitching - Ilkley
Description
Learn to lino cut and print, creating your own design based on a photograph, magazine image or pattern or be inspired by a design by our tutor Wendy Gray. Select your favourite lino cut to print onto fabric and creatively embellish it using a variety of colourful embroidery stitches. The end result will be a gorgeous piece of textile art you can be proud of, to frame or integrate into a cushion cover. Wendy inspires you to use some key creative stitches to add colour and personality to your seasonal print. If you have never stitched before, don’t worry – Wendy is a patient and qualified teacher, and if you already know some embroidery techniques, you will find slow stitching in good company mindfully relaxing. The beautiful embellished piece will bring a smile to your face and a sense of pride in your achievements. No previous experience required so beginner's welcome but if you've done this before, use this class to stretch your creative muscles and create something seasonal.
