Glass-on-glass mosaic workshop: create your own transparent suncatcher or mandala. Discover the beauty of glass-on-glass mosaics in this hands-on 3 hour workshop! Perfect for beginners, this course will guide you through the process of creating a stunning, transparent mosaic which is ideal for displaying in a window or the garden. Unlike traditional mosaics, glass on glass will allow the light to shine through, displaying beautiful colours, and patterns. 🌈 No experience needed - all tools and materials provided. 🌈 Create a beautiful mosaic to adorn your space. What You’ll Create: Using colorful glass pieces adhered to a clear glass base, you’ll craft a roughly A5 to coaster-sized mosaic. This can be in a variety of shapes and can follow any design you like. There will be templates available, but you can also sketch out your own ideas too. Choose your favourite colours and designs to make something uniquely yours. What to Expect: ● Step-by-Step Guidance: Learn the essentials of cutting pieces of coloured glass to shape, designing a pattern and then assembling your own glass-on-glass mosaic with instruction from a qualified teacher. ● Grouting Options: Opt to fill the spaces between the glass during the session or leave them empty for an alternative look. Take your piece home the same day as-is, or leave it with us to grout and return within 7 days (giving you more time for creation). ● Creative Freedom: Experiment with a very wide variety of colors, shapes, and patterns to design a truly personal piece. ● Everything provided: You will not need to bring anything with you, other than your creativity and enthusiasm.
