Design and make your own creations in fused glass! The workshop is ideal for both beginners and those with some glass experience. You will learn the basics of working with sheet glass and be shown step by step, how to translate your designs into your own unique creations. You will make upto 4 glass pieces in this session, from coasters, hanging tiles or trinket bowls/ This is an open style workshop allowing learners to develop their skillset and make something unique. If mornings don’t work for you, afternoon sessions are also available please click "More from this Maker" link at the bottom of the post. I keep class sizes small (max 10) so I am on hand to advise you at every step to turn your ideas into a finished piece Workshop runs for 3 hours, and held close to Victoria Park in East London. PLEASE NOTE Sunday sessions start at 11am During the workshop: - Learn about the history of fused glass – Learn to safely cut glass – Translate a design into cut glass pattern – Use a range of bullseye colour sheet glass, powders, stringers(skinny glass strips) – Make a series of glass art pieces - Choose between set of coasters / trinket bows Please note: as your finished piece(s) will have to be fired in a kiln, they'll be ready for collection the following week. Items can be posted at £8 per parcel.
