Hi, I’m Heather, ex-primary school teacher and artist for Sandwell Council at Ingestre Hall. I’m working part-time in order to support my daughter through Anorexia Nervosa - it’s been a long road to recovery and having my painting events to ensure I look after my own mental health by running them and passing on my passion for teaching people to paint and be brave enough to give things a chance has helped my own mental health immensely. I also make wedding blackboards and can provide art events for parties, charity events and corporate bookings. I love to see you produce work you’re so proud of and can’t believe you’ve done. I’d love to welcome you to a painting event soon!

FAQs
Heather chooses top quality acrylic paints for use in her painting experiences. Together with amazing subjects and a good set of brushes, you’ll be super-proud of your painting - promise!
You will use a stretched canvas frame, which once you’ve finished is wall-ready with just a nail in the wall!
NO! Not at all. Heather can teach anyone to paint and is often up to her elbows in paint with a group of children - if she can teach a 7 year old how to paint something they are proud of (and parents want to frame) then she can with adults too!
A friend and an apron, failing that, just the apron - we have lots of solo painters who often leave having made friends.
