Our popular Doodle Stitching workshop. Learn free machine embroidery and combine it with applique to create either a botanical textile art, or a bowl home decor piece. Start or develop your free machine embroidery skills - doodling with a sewing machine. Free machine embroidery involves being able to sew in any direction, which gives you the freedom to be really creative with stitch. Combine this with applique to create your textile art. Join an experienced textile artist and tutor to get support and gain tips and tricks. Our small groups enable you to get the personal support you need. All materials, drinks, as well as biscuits are included. It is advisable to bring your own sewing machine, so that you will be better able to use your learning again at home. Otherwise, let us know if you need to borrow one of our sewing machines.

Trained in applied textiles and adult teaching, with lifelong experience of all things stitching. I love to combine different materials and techniques and love to pass my skills onto others at creative workshops. Because I keep numbers at workshops small, they are friendly, informal & can be adapted to suit individual needs. I encourage play and experimentation to help creativity.
