A fabulous NEW opportunity to learn how to create beautiful textile portraits with fabric. Thread and Press CIC artist Holly Capstick will show you how to make beautiful portraits on fabric, inspired by her own collection of artwork. This fantastic workshop will guide you in how to choose an appropriate image, transfer onto fabric and use reverse applique and free-motion machine embroidery to create a beautiful face artwork. Bring your own face image to use (we will email you after booking with more guidance on how to choose). All materials and sewing machines are provided. ​No sewing experience required - beginners welcome. Please bring your own lunch, hot drinks are provided. Please contact us for more detailed information. Holly will provide you with support and guidance throughout – even if you have never done anything like this before. Holly has been teaching for over 15 years and can help you to create an artwork to be proud of. Session run by Thread and Press CIC, a Community Interest Company. This is an adult course. No experience required.
