Description
This 5-week course, designed for complete beginners, will introduce you to the basic techniques for hand-building with clay. You will explore: - The pinch method. - Slab-building. - Coiling. - Simple underglaze decoration. Ceramic artist, Emma Jayne Robertson, will share knowledge and expertise to guide you to create various projects throughout the course. Once complete you will have the basic skills to create items from clay. You can then join one of our creative clay classes or courses to hone these skills and learn even more. Or you can repeat the essentials course to build your confidence!
