Description
In the inspiring setting of Crafty Happenings, you will learn how to design a motif suitable for block printing, carve your design and apply it to fabric. Following a few successful test prints, we will move on to printing a blank tea towel with your design. Your finished product will be fully washable, ready for you to use, give as a gift, or hang on the wall at home! If you have other small pale coloured 100% cotton items at home that you would like to bring to print on to you are welcome to do so. These may include t-shirts, pillow cases, handkerchiefs, etc. Your session will be led by Sue, a tutor of 20 + experience. The group is limited to 6 spaces, to ensure that you receive the 1:1 tuition that you need to produce work you can be proud of! This workshop is aimed at beginners and those with some prior experience.
