Description
Ever wanted to try your hand at blacksmithing? Here’s your chance to dive into the world of fire, hammer and steel in a fun, beginner-friendly experience. We’ll start the day with a hot drink and a relaxed chat about health & safety. Then, it’s off to the forge to practice the techniques used by blacksmiths for centuries. At first you’ll practise on offcuts of steel just to learn a few basic techniques, then your first creation will be a classic: a forged hook. This will require several techniques, from drawing out a taper, to scrolling to twisting.
