"Game of Thrones"...ish! : metalwork / blacksmithing workshop
Description
Have you ever wanted a sword to hang on your wall or a sconce lamp or maybe a brazier for the long winter that is coming? Well we are going to run a special metalwork / blacksmith class for anyone who loves 'Game of Thrones' or medieval genre like Lord of the Rings, Vikings etc. Items will all have a medieval 'feel' and not designed to be exact replicas but lookalike and made by attendees of the classes. These classes will be run for a limited time only and class sizes are small to allow everyone access to tutors and equipment. We start at 9.30am and finish between 4.30pm- 5pm. A pub lunch is included. Please note : the swords, axes, spears etc. are designed to be wall art .

We start at 9.30AM, but feel free to arrive a little earlier as we have Tea and Coffee available. We aim to finish at 4 but sometimes classes overrun (not usually by more than half an hour).
We supply all the essentials: Safety specs, gloves, aprons etc. We do ask that you wear sturdy footwear and older clothing. Preferably not shorts or skirts. Do not wear flammable clothing such as polyester! The safest clothing is made from 100% cotton. We also ask that if you have long hair please tie it back.

All the classes are based on a 2:1 or sometimes 3:1 Instructor to Student ratio to ensure that you get the maximum attention without being intimidated. The smallest classes are two pupils and the largest nine, but we tend to aim for a class size of six students with three tutors.
Yes, we are located on a farm and can always find somewhere for you to park.
You can, but with a few restrictions: you will not be allowed in the work area or to stay for a long time, but are welcome to stay for a bit and drink a tea and coffee (we may even ask you to make the class a cuppa for the morning break!)
