"The day course was really well organised, a full but fascinating experience. Mike went through every step of the procedures required to ensure all of us left with a professional piece of work. We were well looked after with regular breaks for refreshments and lunch, and they made sure I finished my lead panel even though it caused an overrun on time. Loved it. "

"We attended the Fused Glass Lantern making workshop. We really enjoyed spending the time at the studio. We found Jenny's instruction and enthusiasm for her craft very inspiring. The day was both relaxing and educational. It was great to be able to spend the time together as a family immersing ourselves in something creative.( completely different to our normal lives!) We can't wait to see the finished lanterns , to know how our very different designs all turned out."

"I attended this course with my mum and we both thoroughly enjoyed the day. We had done stained glass before but with the copper foil style so this was something new to learn and we both gained so much more knowledge from Mike & Jenny than previous course we had done. It was quite an intensive day but Mike & Jenny were so friendly and helpful that you didn't notice how full on it was until the end! Mike was really knowledgeable and very forthcoming with hints and tips to help us along the way. It was an absolute pleasure to attend this course and we both very much look forward to being able to attend another at some point in the near future. Thank you for re-igniting our passion!"

"I chose the 3D copper foiling one day course and was so pleased that I did. The tutors were great they got to know all of the students and helped them to achieve a beautiful finished piece. Very friendly, knowledgeable and there was also a very nice lunch and refreshments throughout the day as needed. I felt that I really learned a lot in the day, a small group so lots of individual attention. I would definitely like to attend courses there in the future."

"If there were 10 stars I would award them. I had an absolutely fabulous day. I found Mike and Jenny (especially) so friendly, helpful, generous with their time, and I produce work to a standard I would not have thought possible. Jenny was very informative, certainly knows what she is talking about and her encouragement was so good. I will definitely be going back to do more. I doubt it will be this year unfortunately as I am going into hospital for a knee replacement. Mike was very accomading in regards to my day of attendance, as the hospital messed me about a bit changing my date. How pleased I was to get in to do the tealights before hospital. Mike has also offered to post to me if I cannot get in to collect them. The range of art and crafts they offer for learning new skills is fantastic. I would encourage anyone to go they will not be disappointed. My grateful thanks Jenny and Mike. "

"I did 5 art courses this summer and the one with Hazel was the most enjoyable. I learnt an awful lot in the space of 4 hours and am looking forward to collecting two pictures which I will certainly put on the wall. Everything was provided, I felt relaxed and well looked after, and the space was well-lit, spacious and well equipped. "

A great well equipped spacious venue and Mike was a fantastic tutor, explaining each technique thoroughly to ensure everyone cut the glass effectively, including the right angle to position yourself and how to move your work when cutting round corners, which was invaluable. I would highly recommend it and will go back for other events at this location."

"This was a birthday gift from my partner as I've always wanted to try stained glass. I was a little nervous attending on my own but Mike and Jenny were really welcoming and easy to make conversation with. Mike was a great tutor, giving clear instructions and demos, he was always on hand for help and advice. Class size was small so you were never waiting for more than a minute for assistance. There was a great selection of glass to choose from and enough creative leeway to make the project my own. I've definitely caught the glass bug and would love to go back and try other glass crafts. We were well topped up with hot drinks throughout the day and lunch was excellent. All in all a really great, fun and informative day which I think was excellent value for money. "

"I did this course last weekend and I cant speak highly enough of it! The explanations of methods were accessible to all and Mike made sure to do demonstrations of the skills multiple times which I found useful to get an understanding in my head. Jenny was also an amazing host checking if we wanted drinks lots and grabbing lunch for us from the cafe which was very yummy. Very interesting day and I'm happy with how my craft turned out so can only recommend this to anyone wanting to try a new method of stained glass or a new medium or just wants to make something pretty."

"Mike and Clare were so very welcoming! They introduced themselves in a friendly way and explained everything clearly. Throughout the session, Mike plied us with countless cups of tea and coffee and took our lunch orders, which he fetched from the cafe later. Clare explained what the course entailed and provided us with materials and her expertise; encouraging us all the way. I really enjoyed my day, which was a gift from my children and came away with three completed mixed media studies and much more experience.
