The Coppice Co. started in 2020 after Suz Williams finished her two year apprenticeship as a coppice worker and traditional craft maker. Since then she has been teaching traditional woodland crafts across the country. Her speciality is willow weaving, split hazel baskets and spoon carving.
"My husband and I spent a very enjoyable day making our trugs. With Suz’s clear explanations at each step of the process…… plus patiently helping us to get back on track when needed … we came away with two very usable and presentable baskets … just as Suz had said at the start of the day.
Suz is obviously very passionate and knowledgeable about her craft and we would not hesitate to recommend this course."
