Maker's bio

The Coppice Co. started in 2020 after Suz Williams finished her two year apprenticeship as a coppice worker and traditional craft maker. Since then she has been teaching traditional woodland crafts across the country. Her speciality is willow weaving, split hazel baskets and spoon carving.

"I had a great time at this course - I had never woven a basket before and thanks to the excellent tuition from Suz my basket looks pretty good. Suz helped everyone to complete a basket in the day class. The facilities were good (the hall was warm and had good light) and I had everything I needed."
